Dr. Teia English

Intern

Dr. Teia English is a dedicated Counselor-in-Training at Eagles Landing Christian Counseling Center with a strong foundation in both faith-based and clinical practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling: Executive Leadership from Liberty University, as well as a Master of Philosophy and a PhD in Human and Social Services with a specialization in Nonprofit Organizations from Walden University. She is currently completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on Marriage and Family, graduating in May 2026.

Dr. English brings a holistic, compassionate, and culturally responsive approach to counseling. Her background in leadership, nonprofit service, and advanced research informs her work with individuals, couples, and families navigating life transitions, relational challenges, grief, identity development, and emotional healing. She is passionate about helping clients rediscover strength, clarity, and purpose within a safe and supportive environment.

Outside of her professional work, Dr. English values faith, family, creativity, and joy. She enjoys music, poetry, and moments of laughter—believing that healing and hope often to flourish where authenticity and light coexist. These personal values enrich her counseling presence while maintaining the professionalism and boundaries essential to ethical practice.
