Staci Stephens

Staci Stephens is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist who specializes in working with children and their families. She earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University and has extensive experience supporting children and families facing challenges related to anxiety, trauma, life adjustments, and family dynamics. Staci utilizes developmentally appropriate, evidence-based approaches, including play therapy, to help children express emotions, build coping skills, and achieve emotional growth. Her background as a school-based counselor has provided her with valuable insight into the mental health needs of students and the important role that schools and families play in a child’s well-being. Staci believes in involving the family unit throughout the counseling process whenever appropriate, helping to strengthen relationships and support lasting positive change. She accepts self-pay clients as well as most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Amerigroup, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Peach State/Cenpatico, United Healthcare, and others.
