Mikala A. Legako

Mikala A. Legako is a Licensed Psychologist in Georgia who provides both counseling services and comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Her evaluation services include IQ testing, academic achievement assessments, personality and mood measures, adaptive functioning evaluations, mental status examinations, neuropsychological screenings, and assessments for dementia and other cognitive concerns. Dr. Legako specializes in working with children experiencing ADD/ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and trauma, as well as adults facing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, life transitions, and co-occurring disorders. She has a passion for helping individuals and families gain a deeper understanding of their strengths, challenges, and treatment needs through thorough and compassionate assessment and counseling services. Having served six years in the United States Air Force, Dr. Legako also has a special appreciation for and commitment to supporting military personnel, veterans, and their families. Her approach is grounded in the belief that healing occurs through meaningful relationships, including a loving relationship with God as our Creator, Sustainer, and Source of Hope.
