Michael Hildreth

Michael Hildreth is a Post-Master’s Level Counseling Intern currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. He practices under the clinical supervision of Denice Colson, PhD, LPC, MAC, CPCS, CCS, DAAETS as he works toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia. Michael brings a unique combination of clinical training, pastoral experience, and public service, holding a Diploma in Linguistics, Bachelor’s degrees in Theology and Biblical Counseling, and a Master of Divinity. His extensive ministry background includes service as an Associate Pastor, Staff Evangelist, International Missionary, and Senior Pastor, along with 19 years of experience as a U.S. Army Reserve Chaplain. He also serves as a first responder with a municipal police department and holds numerous certifications from military and law enforcement training. Michael specializes in working with teens and adults experiencing trauma-related concerns, including TBI, PTSD, moral injury, and suicidality, with a strong focus on supporting military personnel, veterans, and law enforcement officers. His goal is to provide a safe, understanding space where individuals in high-stress and high-impact professions can find healing, resilience, and hope.
