R. Denice Colson

Dr. R. Denice Colson now serves as Clinical Director of Eagles Landing Christian Counseling Center (ELCCC), bringing over four decades of experience in counseling, trauma recovery, addiction treatment, and clinical supervision. A Licensed Professional Counselor and Master Addiction Counselor, Dr. Colson has faithfully contributed to the counseling field since 1982.

As Clinical Director, Dr. Colson provides clinical oversight, supervision, and training to ensure the highest standards of ethical care, trauma-informed practice, and professional excellence within the organization. Her leadership continues to shape the clinical integrity and therapeutic depth of ELCCC’s services.

Dr. Colson is the author of Stop Treating Symptoms and Start Resolving Trauma! Inside-Out Healing for Survivors of ALL Types and Break EVERY Stinking Chain! Healing for Hidden Wounds. She is a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor through the LPCA of Georgia and is widely recognized for her expertise in trauma resolution and faith-integrated counseling.

In addition to her leadership role, Dr. Colson maintains a limited client caseload and continues to provide speaking engagements, seminars, supervision, and training through her education and consultation platform, TraumaEducation.com.

She is a State-Approved DUI Evaluator and Treatment Provider, a Prime Solutions provider, and a Certified BrainTek Practitioner. Dr. Colson remains deeply committed to equipping clinicians and empowering individuals toward lasting healing and transformation.
