April Healy is a Post-Master’s Level Counseling Intern who completed her master’s degree in counseling at the Townsend Institute at Concordia University, Irvine, graduating in December 2024. She is currently under the supervision of Dr. Denice Colson as she continues working toward professional licensure. April works with clients of all ages, including children, teens, adults, couples, families, athletes, and ministry leaders. She has experience supporting individuals navigating a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relational difficulties, family systems challenges, communication issues, church hurt, existential concerns, and sports-related stressors. April is passionate about walking alongside each client, couple, and family as they pursue healing, growth, and emotional well-being, and she strives to create a safe, accepting space where clients can feel fully themselves. She offers services on a self-pay basis. In her personal life, April is a wife and mother of five, with 18 years of church ministry experience and a background as a collegiate athlete at WSU. She values faith, family, sports, and community, and enjoys running, spending time with loved ones, and camping in her free time.
