Amy Kephart

Amy Kephart is a Post-Master’s Level Counseling Intern who holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling with a specialization in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling. She also earned a certification in Biblical Counseling through the Association of Biblical Counselors and is passionate about helping individuals find healing, hope, and growth through a faith-based counseling approach. Amy works with teens, young adults, and adults experiencing challenges related to trauma recovery, grief, relationships, parenting, anxiety, depression, spiritual concerns, and overall mental health. Her clinical experience includes specialized training through internships with the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, where she worked with individuals affected by neuromuscular conditions, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, and chronic pain. She has also supported individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Down syndrome. Amy is a member of the Association of Biblical Counselors, the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation, and the Christian Trauma Healing Network. She is currently pursuing licensure in the state of Georgia and practices under the direct supervision of Christyn Walker, MA, LPC, CPCS, CCTP. Amy offers counseling services on a sliding-scale fee basis and is available by appointment.
